How to Login NetLink FTTH ONT /ONU Device First time
Netlink Fiber ONT (Optical network terminal) client end device to connect to the internet over a fiber connection. ONT/ ONU device used to connect last mile connection between a fiber line from OLT (optical line terminal) to ONT device. Netlink ONT devices are compatible with most of brands OLT devices so if you have installed Netlink fiber ONT device at your home or office internet connection and are looking to change your Wireless Name and password using default settings then you can follow this manual.
You might be using Netlink Single Band ONT (GPON ONT (1GE+IFE+1POTS+WIFI)(HG323RGW) or Netlnik Dual band ONT (NETLINK GPON ONT 2GE+1POTS+ac WIFI (HG323DAC) as well as any other Model number from Netlink for your internet plan that provided by your internet provider.
Login to Netlink FTTH ONT or ONU device using wired or wireless from a mobile/PC or Laptop device. Make sure the Netlink ONT device supports WIFI installed on your internet and it’s not without wifi ONT and using an additional WiFi router to use a Wireless hotspot.

Default Login IP address- 192.168.1.1

Now to Login NetLink FTTH ONT fiber broadband modem you need to connect login a wired or wireless connection from a LAN port from a desktop or mobile/laptop. Follow the connection and login steps if you trying to access Netlink fiber ONT first time from your Laptop or desktop.
As you are already using the Fiber ONT Modem and it’s already connected, you just need to connect from WiFi.
But If you connect to Netlink the first time then follow the steps below.
- Unbox the Netlink GPON, XPON EPON, and ONT /ONU modem and connect to the Power adapter.
- Fiber cable coming from the internet provider OLT side will connect to the PON port of ONT.
- Connect LAN cable from ONT LAN port to Desktop/Laptop for Wired connection.
- To connect using WIFI use Default SSID and WIFI key printed on the sticker.
- Open the web browser and access http://192.168.1.1 or simply 192.168.1.1 and provide a login username and password.
- After login, you will redirected to the ONT status page from where you can navigate the settings menu.
How to Change Wireless Name and Password?
Once you can access router settings now you can easily change the Wireless Name and password from Wreless settings as follow the below steps.
Navigate the Network tab from the Top menu.
Under Network, you will get 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wireless sub-tab if ONT supports dual band and for the single band only 2.4Ghz wireless settings.

Wireless Radio- Enable
Wireless SSID- Change WIFI name for 2.4Ghz here
Wireless channel- Autp
Bandwidth- 20MHz
Wireless Security- WPA/WPA2_PSK_AES
Passphrase- change the Wi-Fi security key here for 2.4ghz
Save settings and follow the same steps for the 5Ghz Wireless band.
After changing the Wireless Name and password all Wireless devices and users will be disconnected as the password and name changed so you need to connect all users again.
Changing only your Wireless password is not enough to secure your fiber broadband internet while you still using the default admin ONT modem Login password and anyone can change your WIFI password again.

How to Change NetLink Fiber MODEM Login Password?
After Login NetLink FTTH ONT The login password change option can be different for each different Netlink ONT model number. In some ONT models no. It comes under Management and in some Models available under the Admin option.
Navigate the Management or Admin option to update the login password or username.
Admin- Password
Password configuration-
Username- Admin (choose username here if you add more than one user name)
Old Password – admin (find default password on the sticker)
New password– create a new login password
Confirm Password- type the new password again to confirm.
Apply Changes and your login password updated for your fiber ONT modem Router.

How to Factory Reset Netlink Fiber ONT Modem Router?
Are you not able to access and Login Netlink FTTH ONT router settings or you may forget your login password or facing any issues while trying to connect with wifi? Most of the bugs can be fixed just by making the FTTH ONT modem Router factory reset to refresh and clear the cache that is stored because of the longer run.
Follow the steps below to hard reset your Fiber ONT modem.
- Power ON your broadband ONT modem device first.
- Check a small reset button or reset hole available on the ONT.
- Use a needle or paper clip to push the reset button.
- Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds and release.
- The Fiber Modem will be automatically restarted and take a few minutes to restore settings to default mode.
- After the reset process is complete Default credentials available on the sticker will work and you can setup your ONT again by following the above steps.
