Default Login IP Address And Username Password For Gigaspire Blast Router

Default login credential for Gigaspire router printed on the bottom sticker of router. The default login username can be the same but the login password can be different for each router.

Login and Setup Calix Gigaspire Blast WiFi6 Router

If you purchase a new Gigaspire wifi router or you upgrade your existing old wifi5 router to a new wifi6 router and this is your first configuration then you need to connect the router and internet cable properly in the correct Port for configurations.

  • Unbox your newly purchased Gigaspire WIFI6 router first and take all the accessories power adapters and LAN cables along with the device.
  • Connect the DC power adapter to the router to the DC socket.
  • Connect Internet cable from ISP/Fiber ONT/Docsis modem to Gigaspire WAN port.
  • Use LAN cable from router LAN port to PC/NVR/DVR/Printer connection.
  • To connect the default WIFI SSID and password find details printed on the sticker.
  • After connection using wired or wireless Open the web browser and access http://192.168.1.1 login IP.
  • You will get the Gigaspire login page user default user/password printed on the sticker.
  • After login into the web interface, you will get access to all WAN/ LAN/ Wireless/System / Maintenance and other settings.
  • Follow the next steps to change the Wireless SSID and WIFI key to update the Gigaspire Blast router default SSID name.

Change Wireless SSID Network Name and Passphrase

Gigaspire WiFI 6 Router is preconfigured with a default wireless SSId and password that is also printed on the router label and quick user manual so its highly recommended to update default wireless settings before connecting to the internet.

There are two ways to setup a Gigaspire router using Wizard and Another way is manually from Advanced settings. If your modem is already configured with the internet and you only want to change your Wireless SSID and password then follow the manual options.

 

Go to  Wifi settings from the left side menu.

Under WIFI – Basic settings.

Wireless Settings:  Radio- Enable

For WIFI 6 Router you will get Dual band wifi 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wireless settings that both need to be configured one by one.

Wireless 2.4Ghz Settings

Wireless SSID- Change WIFI SSID from default to new one as per your choice.

Wireless Channel- Auto

Channel width-20/40

WiFi Security Key– WPA/WPA2 PSK

Passphrase- Set Gigaspire wifi password here (user stronger password for wifi that easy to remember and hard to guess)

Apply and save settings after confirming wireless settings.

If you connect through wifi after SSID change you will get disconnected connect again with a new wifi name and password and change your Wireless 5Ghz settings as well as follow the above steps.

Also after wifi settings go to advanced settings and change the default admin login password to protect router settings access from unauthorized users.

A few common issues may come during first-time configuration or after installation so you can go through the below problems.

Gigaspire Blast Router Blinking Red

Blast router Blinking red indicates the internet connection is lost of there is a failure of the internet due to various reasons which can be cable lost or, bad connector. Check internet wan cable connection is properly plugged-in, and the cable should not be damaged, or contact the internet service provider to confirm if there is any service outage.

 

Gigaspire Blast Router Blinking Green

If your Gigaspire blast router blinks green that means it’s in WPS pairing mode and you can connect any wifi range extender using WPS as well as mobile or any other wifi device with the WPS push button method.

 

Gigaspire Blast Router solid Cyan
